this piece of palenque jade is called imperial jade, its the same kind that the mask of pacal votan was made from.   i bought it just in front of the pyramid of the foliated cross in palenque from a local nice Mayan guy. I mounted it in copper, and framed it with amber and reconstitute turquoise.
